I worked with a model years ago that was really good at posing herself. I asked her where she learned to pose herself so well. She told me that all of her poses were learned from Yoga. Later that year I met a woman that also practiced Yoga; here are some of her yoga forms. It seems to me that great nude poses are largely yoga poses that are viewer focused and includes a center of affection, like a wall or a table or a piece of furniture. I’d love to hear ya’lls view of how great poses are composed.
